Competitive Analysis for Fitness Ecosystem

The leader of an angel investor portfolio wanted to better understand the hardware and software ecosystem within the fitness & wellness. His goal was to identify and evaluate investment targets that aligned well with his investment philosophy.

I worked to gather more information about his investment thesis and areas where he wanted to explore early stage fitness & wellness startups. We discussed the core aspects of a startup that he valued and where he felt he needed more guidance from various market research. We mapped out the current startup ecosystem and provided recommendations to help him select suitable investment opportunities for his next funding round.

With our help, he was able to identify targeted investments that would synergize with his existing portfolio. We also provided him a framework to evaluate these startups as they raised more funding to understand the best time to double-down or exit the investment.
