A team of senior leaders at a CPG company wanted to update their technology capabilities to match the needs of a new strategic company direction. Their goal was to enable their corporate & distributed workforce to leverage new technologies for real-time inventory tracking & other supply-chain logistics support.
Our team identified their main goals, assumptions, and key limitations while developing a cohesive technology strategy that aligned with the broader company goals. We identified tradeoffs in the desired capabilities, developed a realistic roadmap for proposed changes, and helped identify key technology vendors that could support this transition.
We provided a framework to assess these vendors and set up meetings over the coming weeks. Using our evaluation matrix, they were able to discuss capabilities and risks for each vendor, identify the vendors that works best for their needs, and secure a new technology foundation for the next stage of their business growth.
